If a picture is worth a thousand words, children at the Reynolds Home in El Paso’s Lower Valley have a lot to say about their hopes and dreams for the future.

Kids at the shelter for women and children participated in the unveiling of their “Pictures of Hope,” postcards created from photos they took last month with cameras donated by the Skinnytees company. The project is led by photojournalist and author Linda Soloman, alongside Annie Schlesinger, marketing director for Skinnytees.

Various mentors from the El Paso Police Department, El Paso Fire Department and area media helped the children take the photos, which were to depict their hopes and dreams.

The event at the Reynolds Home Tuesday included games with the mentors.

The post cards, which come in a set of 15, are available at the Reynolds Home for $20, with all proceeds going directly to the Reynolds Home. For more information call 915-247-2598. Click Here to see more!
